Prayer 101 - Well firstly let's briefly discuss the simplicity of prayer. Many people ask me, how do I know God has heard my prayers? Is it possible to pray constantly, without ever being heard? Well if a tree falls in the woods a thousand times and there is no one around doesn't it make a sound? The answer is Yes! But was that sound heard or acknowledged? No. There was no one around to hear it. But in this case there is always someone there even if you can't see him. So to answer the question, how do you know if God is hearing your prayers? God is omnipresent which means he is everywhere at the same time. Our prayers are always being heard. God said in Ephesians 6:18 "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." So as far as I know, God always hears your prayers, I suppose the question now is how to ensure those prayers are being answered!!
